A wise word of warning.

If you will use other tool to unlock st21,st23,st26,c150x,c160x phones, make security units backup first.
otherwise, when your phone will be killed with upcoming update from sony mobile, you will NEVER resurrect it.

phones, unlocked with genuine correct setool2 altbypass way are free from this problem.
enjoy world first ultra safe ultra cheap ultra PROPER unlock solution from trusted team.

big warning !

current setool2 version will kill c690x xperia z1 phone when flashing with latest android update : firmware version 14.2.A.0.290

Sony did some changes into latest firmware ( 14.2.A.0.290 ) - it requires new boot update and i'm not implemented it yet it setool2.
After flashing 14.2.A.0.290 firmware into phone without updated boot, we receive brick, i'm trying now to find some way to connect phone, but till now no success.
i'll remove 14.2.A.0.290 from support area until boot update will be implemented in setool2.

notice regarding 14.2.A.0.290 firmware.

boot update is implemented in current setool2 version and it is uploaded on support area on 11.01.2014
boot update was tested by few guys, who experienced problems with xperia z1 phones after flashing ( null imei ) and their problem was fixed.
but i'm not yet tested flashing of dread 14.2.A.0.290 firmware, though it should be okay now, as the only problem was missing boot update procedure.
i'll wait for my c690x phone and will test this firmware personally.

in any way, i'm strongly advice to anyone redownload current setool2 version from support area,if setool2g.exe size NOT 3841536 bytes, at least to prevent fixed problem with null imei after flashing with xperia z1//xperia z ultra.

And if any brave soul ( or maybe very big phone distributor/seller ) will attempt to use 14.2.A.0.290 firmware with this fixup... well, it will be just great ;)

v1.1406

- added msm8210 phones support ( D20xx_XPERIA E1, etc )
- added msm8974ab phones support ( D65xx_XPERIA Z2, etc )
- due to multiple requests, added IMEI change procedure for msm722xA phones. Cost is 2 credits.
procedure is very same as msm8x55-based phones :
options : signed mode + altbypass mode + perform full unlock + allow to change , procedure : unlock/repair

Restrictions :
1. after IMEI change you will not be able to flash phone with anything other, than setool2
2. you MUST unlock phone after IMEI change ( can be done in one step ) , so total cost is 2+2 credits.
3. you must reflash phone or perform factory reset from phone service menu to bring new IMEI in effect.
4. if anything will go wrong, you will receive dead phone, which can only be recovered by jtag tools.

Due to market situation unlock/hwconfig rebuild for Sony msm722xA-based phones ( st21,st23,st26,c15xx,c16xx ) cost 0 credits from today, positive credit balance required.

Smartcard should have activated standalone unlock/hwconfig for 2010,2011 sony ericsson phones.
You can check if your card have this option by running updater with default username updater/updater.

Soon i'll release new smartcard update and setool2 version, which will support standalone unlock/hwconfig rebuild for Sony msm722xA-based phones.

Update will be free, of course, for users, who activated standalone unlock/hwconfig for 2010,2011 sony ericsson phones.
