Very easy and old but I see too many logs where people jus cant seem to get it right,
1. Before any operation with setool press IDENTIFY
2. Always use the C button when "Identify" (do not use 2+5 = bootrom mode as it will not save the security backup units)
3. For phones that have c button as the start button e.g. w880 press the number 2 button (not 2+5 only 2)
SAME GOES FOR FLASHING THE PHONE ..
WHEN FLASHING THE PHONE DO NOT USE BOOTROM MODE.
IT SAYS CLEARLY IN THE SETOOL PROGRAM IF U READ THE BOX IT WILL TELL YOU "Hold C and insert usb cable" or for A2 unlocking etc it will say "hold 2+5 and insert usb cable"
...So simply follow what is written there.
