SeTool with Win7, working or not??

I can`t get setools to work in win7, some one that get se tool to work on win7??...

I can start up setool but after a few seconds a sign comes up "smartcard" then program shuts down..

I hope some one have a ide how to get this to work.

Bad connection with card check usb ports, usb wire etc or card come loose.

There should be no reason to install drivers with Windows Se7en It's all automatic :)

setool2 only contain drivers for 32-bit systems. for 64-bit systems please search manufacturers sites for drivers.

i hope that some day its possible to use this tool in 64bits OS.

With WIN7 Premium edition 64bit = Not working at all
WIN7 Ultimate 64bit = 100% working...

Hi!

Can anybody help me with this problem?
The setool doesn't start. It shows some error regarding the setool2lib.dll. It doesn't matter which version i use. I have this program with all version. On XP i have no problem.
I have win7 64bit ultimate, but i had the same error on win7 professional 64bit.
The card driver is OK, the updater can see the card reads the serial etc..

Attached the screenshots.
The message in the error window in english: The operation completed successfully.

This is a fresh win7 install still don't have antivirus installed! Btw usually i use Kaspersky, and earlier had no problem between setool and kaspersky.
Tried to run as admin, and compatibility mode, downloaded the setool again and i have the same problem.
Other ideas?

I don't have this key.
I have added it to reg, but no success.
I have tried both values.
Created the regkey as DWORD and set to 1 or 0. Setool still doesn't start. :(

i run it in administrator mode, however, cause i'm hate uac.

Holy sh.t.
Managed to start setool.
What i did:

Right click on setool exe in total commander, selected from the drop dow menu: X64> Run with Graphic processor > High performance NVIDIA card

I have intel HD and an NVIDIA in my laptop.
So i have set nvidia to default and now everithing seems to be OK!!

weird. most intresting, i tested on same notebook - have nvidia+intel gfx - and it was run on intel gfx.
however, one thing - it is my child's notebook and one old game never run on intel gfx, on any drivers and so on - until i figured out,that i should set in intel gfx options "power saving" to "maximum performance" when run on battery and on AC.

i do not think it will help in that situation, but ...

Exactly. I have tried what you wrote abowe. Set the intel to max performance, and ran the setool with intel gpu and it's OK.
It's interesting why setool doesn't start with intel gpu on speed setting, just with full performance.

windows 7 introduced new smartcard driver model, so smartcard detected as "two smartcard", lets say so.
because of that, one "smartcard" will not be detected, that is okay and setool2 will work without any problems.
